About Me
I am an assistant professor at Scuola Internazionale di Studi Superiori Avanzati (SISSA) in Trieste, Italy.
In the last two years I have been a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University under the supervision of professor Matthias Ihme and subsequently at the Center of Turbulence Research collaborating with Parviz Moin.
I received my PhD at University of Rouen (France) under the supervision of professors Luc Vervisch and Guido Lodato in 2021.
My research focuses on high-order methods for computational fluid dynamics and more recently in reduced order models for advected-dominated problems.
In particular I am currently working on:
In my free time I enjoy playing/watching/talking about basketball, hiking and watching a troubling large amount of movies/TV series.

- Large Eddy simulations of compressible flows
- Shock waves/turbulence interaction
- Diffuse interface methods for compressible two-phase flows
